Congregational Church Governance
Genesis operates by a congregational church governance model: we don’t have bishops or synods. Our members serve in volunteer capacities, give financially and elect elders and vote on matters at the annual meeting, including our annual budget. Our elders oversee the lead pastor and are responsible for the spiritual welfare of the congregation. Our staff creates and oversees environments where our members and attenders can cultivate new beginnings with God, themselves, and others.
