For those who have experienced loss or the complicated grief of our world, the joy of the holiday season can often feel elusive and out of reach. We are creating a worship gathering to create space for prayer, reflection, and remembrance amidst the twinkle lights and holiday hustle and bustle. Pastor Kara and Will Lee will lead a "liturgy for endings and beginnings" on Wednesday, December 18 at 6:30pm in the Chapel. Bring your grief. Bring your weariness. Bring your fatigue, and allow yourself a quiet space to reflect and draw near to God this Advent season.
Save the date for our Annual Genesis Party on Friday, December 13 at 6pm in the Parlor for a fun evening of food, conversation, music and more! Dinner will be potluck-style, so if you're able, please bring something to share with everyone based on the first letter of your last name: A-L (entree) M-Z, (side dish). Genesis will provide beverages + desserts. This year we're going to lean into "A Family Christmas" so you'll find a craft table, a puzzle table and tables for cards or board games - lots of fun ways for all ages to hang out together. We'll provide a puzzle and some games but if you have a favorite, feel free to bring it along!
